From May 6th-8th we held the Dataharvest Festival in Brussels.
Almost 100 journalists and programmers from more than 20 – mostly European countries – gathered.
Organising this was a lot of work – but seeing small cross-border teams of colleagues sitting together and working on the first stories was definitely worth it.
THANKS to all who joined and contributed!
In case you did not get the thank-you mail, here it is:
So the Dataharvest 2012 in Brussels went well – and we have fixed the dates for next year.
Hope to see you all from May 9th to May 11th 2013 in Brussels.
Keep an eye on www.dataharvest.eu for the upcoming program.
For now I’d like to thank everybody who helped make this happen!
Almost 100 journalists and programmers came travelling to Brussels from more than 20 countries.
Speakers and programmers prepared presentations, everybody contributed to sharing methods, inspiration and an excellent mood. New stories are on the way as these lines are written – based upon the cooperation, we started during the conference.
Particularly I’d like to say thank you to the team who helped with the program: Nils Mulvad, Stefan Candea, Staffan Dahllöf and Ides Debruyne.
Another particular thank you to the team who helped with all the practicalities and now with the follow up: Ides Debruyne, Rafael Njotea, Britt De Metter and Annelies Tytgat.
